Dun Glen, Nevada USA
(Global Geoscience 100%)
The Dun Glen project is located 220 km northeast of Reno and 20 km southwest of Winnemucca in central Nevada.  The project area lies within 70km of multi million ounce gold mines at Florida Canyon, Gold Banks, Lone Tree, Copper Canyon, Battle Mountain and Sleeper.  Two separate areas of interest have been defined by stream sediment geochemical sampling and geological mapping.  The northern area comprises a 4 km by 2 km zone with anomalous gold in stream sediments and includes historic workings where rock chip grab samples from mine dump material returned values up to 54.1 g/t gold, 835 g/t silver and 0.3% copper.  The southern area lies 10 km to the south of the northern area and comprises a 3 km by 6 km area of anomalous gold, silver, antimony and molybdenum in stream sediments.  Rock chip samples collected from historic workings contained up to 0.65g/t gold, 667g/t silver and 8% zinc. The gold-silver-lead-zinc zone closely coincides with an annular zone of magnetic low similar to that associated with mineralisation at Copper Canyon and Battle Mountain.
